1956:

    • At the age of 22 Adelbert GroĂź founds the private company “Adelbert Gross Drehteile” in the basement of his family home in Lauterstein-Nenningen and sets up a lathe there.

    • Relocation to Böhmenkirch and construction of a 70 m² workshop.

1979:

    • Relocation to the current headquarters in “BuĂźkreuz”, the industrial area of Böhmenkirch. Construction of a production hall with an area of 1,000 m².

1989:

    • Expansion of the production hall to an area of 2,500 m².

1992:

    • Purchase of the world’s first vertical lathe.

1999:

    • Change of the company form from private company “Adelbert Gross Drehteile” to a limited company “Gross Präzisionsdrehteile Gmbh”.
      Thomas GroĂź, son of the founder, takes over the running of the company.
      Expansion of the site to 5,000 m² through the new construction of a second production hall with an administrative building.

2003:

    • Expansion of the site to 7,000 m² through the new construction of a third production hall with a shipping warehouse and warehouse for unmachined parts.

2005:

    • Establishment of the Gross Brandenburg GmbH at the second location in Brandenburg an der Havel. Rental of a 4,500 m² factory hall.

2012:

    • Purchase of a 28,000 m² industrial site in Brandenburg an der Havel

2013:

    • Planned new construction of a production hall together with an administrative building with an area of 6,000 m².

2014:

    • Relocation to the new building to the industrial park Hohenstuecken in Brandenburg.

2018:

    • Expansion in Brandenburg. Planned new construction of the Logistic hall and Expansion of the production hall to an area of 8.500 m².

2019:

    • Expansion in Brandenburg. Planned new construction of the Loading hall and Expansion of the production hall to an area of 9.000 m².

2020:

    • Expansion in Böhmenkirch. Planned new construction of the Logistic hall and Expansion of the production hall to an area of 9.000 m².
